STOCKOSORB® SUPERABSORBENT POLYMERS are organic crosslinked copolymers specifically designed to improve the capability of soils and other growing media to retain water and plant nutrients.
WHY SHOULD I USE STOCKOSORB®?
Water requirements of plants vary throughout the growing season. A consistent, readily available source
of water and nutrients is essential for proper plant growth. STOCKOSORB® acts as a reservoir of water that is available to your plants on demand, reducing plant shock and the effects of drought. This saves you time and money by reducing the amount and frequency of watering and
fertilizing.
HOW DOES STOCKOSORB® WORK?
When added to soil, plant roots grow directly into the water-swollen polymers, tapping the reserve as
needed.

100% of capacity is reached in one to two hours.

95% of water absorbed is available to the plant.

STOCKOSORB® retains its ability to expand and contract, and therefore is an effective water management tool for approximately 5 years.

IS STOCKOSORB® ENVIRONMENTALLY COMPATIBLE AND
IS IT SAFE?
Yes. STOCKOSORB® is environmentally safe and does not contaminate plants, soil or ground water. With an essentially neutral pH, STOCKOSORB® breaks down into its component parts of ammonia, carbon dioxide, and water with no residual toxicity. STOCKOSORB® should not be inhaled or ingested, however; and should therefore be kept out of reach of children.
HOW IS STOCKOSORB® DIFFERENT FROM OTHER POLYMERS?
STOCKOSORB® is a potassium rather than sodium-based polymer. STOCKOSORB® has a gel strength that is three times higher than competitive products.
WHICH PARTICLE SIZE SHOULD I USE?
STOCKOSORB® M - For mixing into the growing media prior to planting or in landscaping applications. STOCKOSORB® S - For mixing into growing media prior to seeding, sodding or small container planting. Also, can be used for root dipping. (1oz. per gallon of water) STOCKOSORB® S - For mixing with water to be used as a gel to treat bare roots before planting or during transportation.
